The reason why we choose this topic is sustainability actually has a closer relation with hotels in the tourism industry as the sustainability concept is promoted for a better human future being developed across the world. Maybe most of the people argue hotels are not the main environmental and sustainable development contributor as a profit form whereas many hotels have been applied with sustainable facilities due to cooperation developmental need to attract more people who concern about sustainability.

Compared to other people, students must have the most opportunities to learn about sustainability through normal academic classes and social media. From ourselves, we wonder how student travelers view sustainability in the hotels and whether they would consider sustainability when they making a decision on accommodation.
